Cross Border Shipping into Canada Just Got More Regulated!

Recently, the Canada Border Services Agency enacted new requirements for pre-submission of customs paperwork. The carrier crossing the border must be registered with CBSA and have access to government portal to file customs forms in advance. Failure to comply is being met with $2000 fines AND, denying entry into Canada of the shipment. Make sure your shipments do not get delayed.

Rapidgo is registered with the CBSA and transmits appropriate paperwork for customs clearance either into the United States or into Canada. Our dispatchers continue to track your shipments 24/7 to insure they arrive safe and on time.

To best determine the size of vehicle required for cross-border and local shipments, refer to these capacities.
Cargo VanCargo van: Load size 96”L x 48”W x 47”H – weight up to 2500 lbs
SprinterSprinter van: Load size 144”L x 48”W x 70”H – weight up to 3500 lbs

5 TonStraight Truck/Dock Level: Load size 24 ft (288”)L x 98”W x 96”H – weight up to 10,000 lbs

Advantage of Sprinter Vans

Many times three skids can easily be loaded into a Sprinter Van rather than requiring a dock level straight truck. Save time and shipping costs with local or cross-border use of Sprinters.
