Terms & Conditions (Customer)
1. Definitions
Rapidgo Inc. (“Rapidgo”) – the carrier providing transportation services.
Shipper – the party requesting transport.
Consignee – the recipient of goods.
Customer – any party contracting Rapidgo for services.
Goods – the freight being shipped.
POD – Proof of Delivery.
Accessorials – additional charges beyond linehaul.
Business Day – Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
2. Services & Rate Basis
2.1 Rapidgo provides expedited ground courier and dedicated vehicle services within Canada and cross-border to the United States.
2.2 Pricing uses miles (distance) and pounds (weight) as standard units.
2.3 Linehaul is calculated on loaded miles unless otherwise agreed. Deadhead miles, tolls, ferries, or detours are billable if applicable.
2.4 Accessorials may include wait time, extra stops, residential or inside delivery, after-hours service, layovers, oversize/overweight loads, dangerous goods, or remote-area surcharges.
2.5 A fuel surcharge may be applied or adjusted without notice based on market indices.
3. Orders, Pickup & Delivery
3.1 Bookings must include complete and accurate details: pickup and delivery locations, contact information, commodity description, weight, and dimensions.
3.2 POD: Receiver’s signature constitutes clear receipt of all goods in apparent good order unless otherwise noted at delivery.
3.3 Requests for “Proof of Delivery” on waybills dated more than 30 days prior may incur a $15.00 administrative fee. (Legacy clause)
4. Payment Terms
4.1 All accounts are due in full within 10 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. (Legacy clause)
4.2 Overdue balances are subject to a 2% monthly finance charge (or legal maximum if lower). (Legacy clause)
4.3 Cheques returned NSF incur a $25 handling fee. (Legacy clause)
4.4 All pricing is in CAD unless otherwise specified; cross-border quotes may include FX adjustments.
5. Insurance & Risk of Loss
5.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, goods are insured by the shipper or consignee. (Legacy clause)
5.2 Customers must declare value and obtain additional insurance if required.
6. Liability & Limits
6.1 Rapidgo is not liable for delay, misdelivery, or nondelivery caused by factors beyond reasonable control, including weather, road closures, border delays, or incorrect data. (Legacy clause)
6.2 Limit of Liability: $2.00 per lb (subject to legal cap review).
6.3 Exclusions: consequential, indirect, or special damages; loss of profit; inherent vice; improper packing.
7. Customs & Compliance (Cross-Border)
7.1 Shipper is responsible for accurate commercial invoices, HS codes, permits, and payment of duties/taxes.
7.2 Rapidgo is not responsible for delays due to customs inspection or clearance issues.
8. Claims
8.1 Visible damage or shortage must be noted on POD at delivery; concealed damage must be reported promptly with evidence.
8.2 Claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery with supporting photos, waybill, and invoice.

Customer authorizes Rapidgo to process shipment and contact data for order fulfillment, compliance, and safety purposes.
10. Entire Agreement
This waybill or bill of lading and these Terms & Conditions constitute the entire contract between the Shipper and Rapidgo Inc. (Legacy clause)
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes shall be heard in the courts of Ontario.
12. Revisions
Rapidgo may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.
The version in effect at the time of order placement applies to that shipment.
